GROUND BEEF AND RICE RECIPE

Have you ever embarked on an adventure with a certain plan, only to stumble upon a superior one halfway through? That's precisely the story of this dish. You can readily alter your course midway and still end up with an incredible culinary creation. The most wonderful aspect is that you don't require the expertise of a chef to execute it. Armed with the appropriate ingredients and a stove, you'll find yourself amazed by the outcomes.

 

INGREDIENTS:

- Rice

- Ground Beef

- Black Beans

- Butter

- Vegetable Oil

- Tomato Paste

- Beef Stock

- Veggies ( Red Onion, Bell Pepper)

- Seasonings(ground cumin, paprika, chili powder, steak/beef seasoning, ground pepper, chili pepper, salt)

 

DIRECTIONS:

1. Start by boiling your clean rice( 2 cups washed at least twice). For easy and fast result use a rice cooker( 1cup of rice = 2cups of water).

2. Turn on your stove to medium heat and in your pan add your ground beef(1lb) and let it cook. You don’t need to add any oil in the pan as the ground beef will release some fat while cooking. Let it cook until it turns brownish and ready.

3. Now in a different pan add 2tbsp of vegetable oil on medium heat. Go ahead and add your chopped bell pepper and onions and let it caramelize.

4. Now add your ground beef in the pan, add your seasonings then mix.

5. Add your black beans(1can) in the mix and then add 2tbsp of butter and 1tbsp of tomato paste and mix again.

6. Now add 1cup of beef stock and let it cook until the beans are ready.

7. Once everything is ready, add your boiled rice in the pot and mix everything together until desired texture.
